So, even though I’m not getting married, can I still wear this wrap wedding dress?! Leah, you are looking fire! Having to postpone their summer wedding, Leah & Craig are calling this ‘part 1’ of their wedding, and are hoping to experience their big day all over again in August, with all their friends & family! Tweaking some of their summer wedding to a more winter vibe, their cake was styled in the morning and the suits were collected three days before. Leah’s ASOS wrap wedding dress looks absolutely stunning with her gold bow slingback’s and pastel-coloured bouquet. Oh, and not forgetting Craig absolutely slaying in his black tie!

The uniqueness and intimacy of our wedding made it so incredibly special. We have called this part 1 of our wedding day. Whilst part 2 (we hope), will be in August, where we can celebrate with family and friends. We feel super lucky to experience our wedding day again. Our wedding only had the go ahead 5.45pm the night before!
SUPPLIERS
We wanted to support local suppliers who we could meet before the pandemic. We also wanted the suppliers to have either worked with, or knew of, their working colleagues. I believed this would provide a comfortable and smooth transition throughout the day. We wanted to choose suppliers we felt a connection with - those who were happy to go the extra mile to make our day memorable.
VIBE
Due to being in a middle of a pandemic it was a little thrown together! We had to change suppliers who could not attend our second date. We managed to tweak some of our summer vibe wedding to a winter theme, but tried to keep everything classic and simple.
FIRST LOOK
Due to a very emotional groom (!), we adopted the 'first look’, which is where you see one another before the bride walks down the aisle. This was supposed to be filmed, but the videographer couldn't travel. It was super special seeing one another as we were really nervous and full of emotion!
We love a first look! It is an incredibly special and intimate moment for both the bride & groom - providing a memory that will seriously last a lifetime.
The wedding went from everything to nothing - focusing just on us. Despite our restrictions, we made it work and had the most wonderful day. We even had to spend the evening together and wake up with one another. Otherwise, we wouldn't have been able to marry due to Government restrictions and the tier system!
