DIY Devotee

So far we’ve not shared any little snippets on how to make your look your own, in a totally RMW DIY fashion… (pardon the pun) …that is until this week!

I am totally in awe of this little DIY project, it’s super easy, potentially super colourful (which I LOVE) and super personalised to your style!

Plus it’s a fab cost saving exercise. Cheap shoes + not great design = make them fabulous with this little DIY.

Todays project was found over on Green Wedding Shoes.

For the full how to on these pretty wedding shoes head on over and check out the full post on Green Wedding Shoes.

What I love about this is it could work for absolutely any wedding. You could use a ditsy floral fabric for a country theme, jazz up some boring bridal shoes with a colourful scrap of fabric to match your scheme, or how about making the bridesmaids shoes just like this but with different shades of pinks/blues/greens, whatever takes your fancy!

Ultra romantic just in white, I think I might be trying this next time I have a difficult outfit to match up!

Yours DIY Truly,

Rebecca

I saw this last week but when I tried it the fabric wasn’t light enough. Light and gauzy fabric is key here I think!

There’s a knicker making course at the Make Lounge:

A friend did biscuit making there and really enjoyed it.

  5. Totally agree – it needs to be a chiffon-y type fabric.

Am LOVING the idea of a pants party!

And laughing my head off that we are now back to pants… just peachy.
