Jar Of Hearts – Colour Options.

Our Jar Of Hearts D.I.Y tutorial, which you can view here was really popular (thanks folks!) and we have been inundated with requests for the graphic downloads to be available in various different colour schemes.

Your wish is our command and today we have managed to put together for you a few of the most popular colour requests.

We have decided to use grey as a base colour and provide various options for the accent colour. We figured grey goes with everything, so by doing it this way, the colour combinations we’ve put together will be useful for as many of you keen D.I.Y W-day planners as possible.

We are still open to requests, so please feel free to leave us a comment with your particular colour ideas and we will do our best to add to the downloads available on this post in due course, so please check back regularly.

We have created a word document for the name card download so that you can type in your own guest names. All of the other downloads are .pdf files.

The font we used in this tutorial is called “Delicious” and you can get it for free from the brilliant font foundry exljbris.

We hope you find these free downloads useful.

Please do let us know what colour you would like to use for your big day, we can’t promise anything but we will do our best to build a resource right here of your favourite colour combinations.

Personally I can’t wait to see some of your interpretations of Jar Of Hearts. Remember, we are just as happy for you to recreate our idea’s verbatim as we are for you to give it a personal twist with your own ideas, designs and adaptions.

Just make sure you send some pictures in of your creations so we can have a peek!

Adam.

I am loving this idea so much – its really us! Thank you and keep up with the DIY ideas and downloads please, you are one of the few websites that actually come up with ideas I actually want to recreate! I am going for more of a colour pop theme, so if there was any chance you could create a lime green and hot pink or Lilac colour scheme, I would be so pleased!

  9. Sophie says:

You guys are just angels! Mwah! xxx

  10. @emlou – When you say Hot pink do you mean a bit like the pink we used with the green in the original post? we could put that with grey?

@Amy and @Sarah Osborn – I think I know the pink you mean too, kind of like a medium pink, not too pale but not too colour pop? if you have an example please do drop Adam or I an email with a pic and we can use that to find the right one for you.

Like a Dusky Vintage pink! I’m having a mix of pinks (not hot though) so i’m sure any soft pink will be fine, it just needs to be with white or cream! seems a bit boring compared to these lovely colour mixes but hey ho, we like it! x

I am having an Alice in Wonderland wedding and will have games there to play. Could you make a copy in red and black for us? I think i will give this its own table and let the guest just write their names on the card so they can do more then one if they want. This is such an awsome idea!!!!

  36. Bonnie says:

Hi There, these are absolutely AMAZING, and I would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to use them at my wedding. Any chance at all that you could do a bright hot pink (fushia) with tangerine or orange. My wedding is a destination wedding with those two colors as the theme.

    Thanks so much !!!!

  37. Kelly says:

    HELLO!!
So I am super late but I saw this post last year and bookmarked it for when i was READY!! And I am now ready! yay!

I am getting married in tuscany in August this year and will have lots of people sitting together who don’t know each other…..I think this will defo break the ice!

My theme is black gothic/victoriana (it makes sense to me-my poor mother not so much!) With a dirty light pink (not the best description…but I guess dusky/antique pink would sound nicer?)So is there any chance you can do this in those colours?

    This would be amazing!
    Grazie mille!!
