How many amazing details are there in this real wedding feature?! The theme combines the couples’ love of New York City, with the film ‘Breakfast At Tiffanys’ and the result is nothing short of spectacular. Laura & Gianluigi wanted to surprise guests, as they have been together for over ten years, so they went a little different, a little bolder with the decor. But by keeping things intimate and stylish, guests felt as if they were at an extended dinner party, rather than a big fancy wedding.
This stylish shoot from Tenerife wedding planner Priscilla Salazar is just gorgeous. I love the rich colour palette and the combination of textures. Dried hydrangeas, lots of foliage and feathers show that you don’t aways need an abundance of fresh blooms to create a striking impression.
The incredible venue is full of gorgeous architectural details too, crumbling lichen covered walls, concrete floors and winding stairways just calling out for their photograph to be taken. The whole effect is beautiful and is the perfect slice of escapism for your lunchtime viewing pleasure…
Ok, so this wedding required a weekend feature because I need you to promise me that you’re going to watch the video. You need to make sure the sound is up loud and that you’re sitting comfortably. This isn’t one for sneakily viewing while you’re supposed to be working. When I first watched it I got real life goosebumps and shivers and I want you to have the same feelings. So this needs to be watched properly.
Maru Films have blown me away and I can only imagine how special this must be for the gorgeous couple, Lene & Russ. If you’re looking for a wedding videographer with a real cinematic quality, then look no further…
Martina & Giovanni had the most beautifully styled reception – silvery grey table linen, mirrored table runners and an abundance of white blooms just make the tables look incredible, it’s the perfect way to bring warmth to the rustic wooden beamed ceiling and the industrial exposed brick walls. The space is warm and inviting but oh so luxurious. I love how versatile the venue is too, there is just a plethora of different backdrops to work with – some classically Italian and some much more unusual.
I think this might be one of the best weddings I’ve ever blogged. Actually, thinking about it, it might be one of the best weddings I’ve ever seen!!! The tropical details, the bright colour scheme, Meera’s BEAUTIFUL white and gold wedding sari…and I’ve not even started on the incredible Costa Brava venue, with hidden courtyards, a pool and the most incredible native Spanish plants and flowers.
Detallerie have styled the wedding to perfection – if you want to theme your wedding with a tropical vibe, then this is a masterclass in how to do it…
Today’s wedding is simply magical from start to finish. Set in the beautiful grounds of Jardins de Abril, Alicante with a literary theme for the book loving couple, the day was a celebration of the whole family, not just our gorgeous Maria José & Adrian.
Weddings from Paloma Cruz Eventos are always so thoughtful – every single detail has been well considered, adding something to the overall vision of the day, which results in styling that is completely unique. Adding hanging florals to the already stunning bower of trees over the ceremony area is just genius. The library card table plan is really clever too and just wait until you see the flowers. Such a dreamy colour palette. We’re really excited to have Paloma on our Love Lust List, if you’re getting married in Spain do get in touch if you like what she does.
And just as you think this wedding couldn’t get any better – the images from Pablo Laguia just bring a whole other level of creativeness to proceedings. Each frame has been executed perfectly, with a real understanding of this lovely family and what their wedding day was all about…
This wedding is achingly cool, free spirited and relaxed, which sums up Alessandra and Federico perfectly. They chose a stunning country club in their home region of Abruzzo, Italy to host their wedding, held the ceremony outside under the glorious sunshine and partied the night away until the stars came out. Alessandra’s bespoke dress, designed by her and a good friend and made by a local seamstress is just beautiful. It’s the perfect blend of embellishment and sheer fabric with a silvery grey colour tone and a relaxed wrap around style. As well as being oh-so Bridal, it’s totally red carpet worthy.
The wedding party look super chic in all black and it just goes to show that this style doesn’t need to be kept for a Winter Wedding. Let’s face it, an LBD or a sharp black suit are never going to look bad.
I must admit that until I clapped eyes on this atmospheric elopement, I didn’t really get it. Eloping I mean. I’ve seen SO many elopement shots on Instagram with all sorts of stunning scenery behind the couple, but for me the question remained – why on earth would you want to give up the opportunity for a massive party, an abundance of blooms and a killer dress? Well it turns out it’s simply for the romance. It’s for those quiet moments between the two of you. It’s for celebrating your love, without any fuss or frills attached. It’s for escaping the stress. It’s for having the trip of a lifetime. It’s for making memories that will live with the two of you until you’re grey and old.
Clearly, I just needed to understand the story behind the couple, I needed to read about Masha & Marcel and see their story as captured by Millie Benbow.
And actually, it turns out that you still can have a killer dress.
I honestly don’t know why more of us don’t do it…
Whenever we receive a real wedding submission from Spain, I get really excited. They have a thriving and ridiculously stylish Wedding Industry. And someone at the forefront of that is the amazing Paloma Cruz. Everything she works on is beautiful and this morning’s wedding is no exception.
There are elegantly dressed long tables, a colour palette that reflects the sand and sea, a really cool seating area and a canopy of fairy lights. Then there’s Irene’s stunning dress with a full skirt and some gorgeous embroidery detailing. This wedding is a real treat from start to finish and every magical moment has been captured by Oscar Guillen.
