What Made Our Day Unique
We had a lot of international guests. It was wonderful to have all of our loved ones together in beautiful Zambia and show them our rich, traditional culture with hints of British culture and decor. The cake made our day unique and until now we have never seen a cake as beautiful as our wedding cake. Also a known gospel artist Ephraim was paid to perform for a short period of time but he ended up performing for almost the entire time. He also took over the show and was in charge of all performing artists. Mind-blowing gesture.Bernadette & Lyson
Inspiration & Styling
Our special day was a mix of an African cultural celebration with hints of English charm. It was inspired by our love for this beautiful continent, our rich culture, and also our love of travel. For our wedding, the African spirit and fancy English garden party charm came to life. The breathtaking bridal shower was held at an exotic almost countryside touch venue. We had our wedding at a polo park, with the wedding cocktail in a beautiful Afrocentric touched restaurant called the Horse Shoe. Preceded by a wonderful wedding reception in a beautiful tent. A wedding to remember.Bernadette & Lyson
Advice
Yes! Engage a good wedding specialist and all will flow. For us, it was great having a wedding planner and designer with a lot of experience by our side. Mwai helped us through everything and she seriously eliminated so much stress so we could actually enjoy our engagement and wedding day. Additionally have timelines, this helps to keep everything in check and on track.Bernadette & Lyson
