Ami & Dom’s wedding at Chycara in Cornwall had a rustic luxe theme that we’re so obsessed with. This wedding really had the best of both worlds. It was glam and elegant with a champagne tower, satin brown bridesmaid dresses, and incredible DIY wedding decor. But the couple also embraced a relaxed and laidback vibe with grazing tables, stone-baked pizzas and games of beer pong! Capturing this beautiful day was Recommended Supplier, Pink Wave Photography! Rustic luxe wedding at Chycara with chic brown satin bridesmaid dresses
It’s so hard to pick one favourite moment. I loved having pyjama photos with my bridesmaids and seeing Dom waiting for me under the pergola. Dom blew everyone away with his speech. He had everyone laughing and crying at the same time. The party was also incredible! We had the amazing Stone Roots play and then Alice DJ’d for the remainder of the evening.
DIY & Personal Touches at Chycara
For Ami & Dom’s rustic luxe wedding day at Chycara, Ami got into some DIY to ensure the couple could have the wedding of their dreams within budget. The bride designed all of the stationery, and signage and made all of the place names out of clay! Ami loved how personal you can make your wedding day through DIY. Ami designed and styled the wedding all by herself and loved the glam vibe to complement the rustic touches of the venue. Ami & Dom tied the knot outdoors under the pergola. For their ceremony, the couple wrote their own vows and it was so funny how similar they were! It was like the couple had copied each other's homework - they’re just meant to be!
Pizzas & Beer Pong at Chycara
The main order of the day was that Ami & Dom wanted their guests to enjoy every aspect as much as them. When planning the wedding, the couple made sure that they did all they could to create a relaxed and fun day for everyone. This meant deciding against a formal 3-course sit-down meal. Instead, Ami & Dom opted for a buffet-style grazing table with fresh stone-baked pizzas. Yum! Pizzas have always been one of Ami & Dom’s favourite foods, so it seemed silly not to incorporate that in some way. To add to the laidback vibes, the couple had a beer pong table with custom beer pong balls with their face on! All while a friend played the saxophone as welcome drinks were served. Now that sounds like our kind of party!
With yummy stone-baked pizzas and games of beer pong, it’s safe to say that guests were having a ball!
