You know we love those Autumn colour bridesmaid dresses, thankfully, Jack & India are here to give us all that goodness! With plenty of personal touches throughout, their decorations were made by themselves, such as the dried floral arrangements, signs, macrame archway, and much more! The venue was a family friend's farm, and they wanted to support as many small businesses/local suppliers as possible. Instead of a traditional wedding breakfast, they asked guests to bring a dish they could share. This really contributed to the beautiful community feel throughout the day. Now, get ready to drink it all in, because it’s one you don’t want to miss.

Our wedding had a real community feel. Many people helped to put the day together in the year leading up, the week before setting up, and on the day. Everyone loved feeling like they were a real part of our day, it was filled with so much love.
AUTUMN COLOUR BRIDESMAID DRESSES
The colour scheme was warm colours with neutral and earthy hues. Their bridal party wore burnt oranges, burgundies, dusky pinks, browns and golds. We just love them! With a boho-styling throughout, it truly reflected their style and taste. Not having a big budget meant Jack & India got creative about how to decorate the space, making everything themselves with materials they already had. Buying the odd thing mostly second-hand, which they will reuse or resell, as they didn’t want anything to be single use.
ADVICE
Jack & India suggest making it personal and unique to you. Trying not to get carried away in having an extravagant or super expensive day, as it doesn’t necessarily equal a more special day! It’s all about celebrating your love with your closest friends and family. They also recommended choosing your photographer well (we couldn’t agree more!) and not scrimping on your wedding rings. As these are the two physical things you have as constant reminders of your wedding and love.
Could a DIY wedding be for you?
One epic DIY project was making 103 metres of bunting, from fabric in my mum's loft, it took a very long time but was worth it, a great way to decorate a large white marquee for free!
