These block heel wedding shoes were made for walking, hunny! Tessa & Chris originally planned a much bigger wedding, but decided to change their plans due to the pandemic. Moving their day to the Old Marylebone Town Hall, and adding a few DIY touches, they started a new chapter. We are just in love with Tessa’s bridal jumpsuit, Gucci shoes, and a little red lipstick to complete the stylish look. Oh, and how suave does Chris look?! We love his polkadot cravat! Our favourite moment was walking out of Marylebone Town Hall as husband and wife, straight into a confetti explosion. Filled with the happy faces of our close family. All there helping us celebrate the beginning of our new chapter together!
ADVICE
Having originally planned a much bigger wedding in a totally different season, we would say, don't let a change of plan put you off! Once we decided that we really wanted to see 2020 out as a married couple, it took some quick searching and planning in between two national lockdowns to get everything together. Yes, we missed having the rest of our family there and our friends, but for us, it was the perfect day. We created our dream day during a global pandemic!
DIY
The decoration and styling of the wedding venue was designed by us. I put my trust into my future husband and his groomsman to set it all up and they nailed it! Catherine from Floral Evolution really brought it all together with her beautiful arrangements and Elena Popa just captured the feel of the day perfectly! My family helped us with the wedding favours - I am Greek and having an element of that was really important to us. We had bombonieres made for us with little evil eyes on them and Chris made our lovely place cards.
We love a couple that knows themselves! It is always so effortlessly reflected in the styling of their day.
We both wanted to feel like ourselves and anyone that knows me, knows I love a jumpsuit! And Chris… well, he was always going to look dapper in a suit!
