Shannon & Gavin knew they wanted a relaxed, fun and memorable wedding, complete with DIY decor and a bright colour scheme. Wanting family and friends of all ages to enjoy themselves, they opted for food vans rather than table services, which suited the vibe a lot more. Burrow Farm Gardens allowed a space in which Shannon & Gavin could let their creativity flow! With hired and DIY aspects, they were able to showcase their personality and create a day that felt 100% them. A DIY wedding isn’t for the faint-hearted, but it’s the perfect opportunity to save a little money and also rope in your family and friends! Hiring decor is also a great idea if you’re looking to be a little more sustainable on your Big Day.
BRIDAL COVERUPS
You know we can’t resist a bridal coverup. Shannon’s personalised denim jacket is the perfect way to add a little bit of you to your outfit. You know we’re all about being comfortable on your big day, so whether it’s a leather jacket, shawl, or jumper, adding a little something extra can make a big difference! It’s also a fantastic keepsake alongside your wedding dress.
COUPLES WITH CHILDREN
Shannon & Gavin wanted their big day to ensure everyone of all ages had a good time! The use of food trucks is a fantastic way to ease the stress of having children at your wedding, as a sit-down meal can sometimes be a little too much. Shannon also found a children's tent via Facebook, and maintains that this is a fabulous idea and a necessity if you're planning on having kids at your wedding!
