Inspiration

When I started putting this wedding together the first thing I spotted was Lisa's amazing Christina Wu Bridal gown. That train! Lisa and Romane married at Recommended venue The Tythe Barn, Launton. The couple are both fitness instructors and you can see nods to this throughout their day. Hello, hip-thrusts! We love a good, personal table plan. But the thing that stands out the most on their day? Their smiles. The way they look at each other. Enjoy it folks, it's a good one.

The vibe was totally relaxed, a laid-back atmosphere. We didn't want it to be too formal.

I love the kind of boho look so that was the main inspiration! The venue itself was so stunning! I’ve never seen so much attention to detail in every corner! There was always something new to see.

STEEL DRUMS FOR WEDDING CELEBRATIONS

The steel drums were a favourite part of Lisa and Romane's day. They loved the Caribbean vibe that they bought to the day. As well as the drums they loved exchanging promises with each other during their ceremony.

Christina Wu dress

Lisa looked stunning in her gorgeous Christina Wu bridal gown. It was so fitting for the surroundings at The Tythe Barn. She was able to create that rustic boho look that she really wanted. Her pink and white bouquet complemented the delicate lace on her dress so well. And that pink paired with the blush and lilac of her bridesmaids is pastel perfection.

Canapes and food

Burgers, chips, and that doughnut tower! Yes, please. We absolutely love the mini ice cream canapés too. Such a fun and practical idea for a warm summer wedding.

Most of all we enjoyed the end of the night seeing everyone dancing on the dancefloor, smiling, laughing and being so happy!

Our photographer Natalie was INCREDIBLE! Her creative flair to capture the natural reactions of everyone there was amazing! The photos are out of this world.

Lisa & Romane

Did you spy the little confetti envelopes that Lisa and Romane had pegged to a board? Such a great DIY wedding idea. In fact, we loved all the signage, the fitness-inspired table names, the order of the day. So much inspiration. We're just popping back to the top of the wedding to take one more look at Lisa's Christina Wu dress. Feel free to join us.
