This beautiful couple chose Cogges Manor Farm for their venue. A real working farm with beautiful rustic touches and a relaxed atmosphere which was top of their priority list. Being a completely blank canvas the couple had complete freedom to dress the barn to their style perfectly with a selection of pastels and delicate fairy lights it was every inch the country Cotswolds wedding they dreamed of.
What Made Our Day Unique
Cogges Manor Farm has such a lovely, relaxing feel to the place. From our first viewing, we just knew this was the right venue for us! As it was a blank canvas this gave us the freedom to design the barn to our exact taste. Seeing our vision come together on the day with thanks to all our wonderful suppliers was truly amazing! One of our favourite moments is the journey from the church to the venue. It was one of the very few times it was just the two of us and we could just let it sink in that everything we had been planning for was finally here!
Cogges Manor Farm
Nestled in the Cotswolds sits Cogges Manor Farm a beautifully unique wedding venue featuring a rustic beamed barn, the ultimate blank canvas. Joanna and Martin used delicate hanging fairy lights to create such a cosy reception dressed with pastel floral arrangements from Haze Lea and a delicious semi-naked wedding cake by Laura Urschel. All the perfect touches to bring together a relaxed celebration filled with love.
Inspiration & Styling
It was important that the day reflected who we are. We wanted a relaxed vibe for the day and just to enjoy each moment and have fun! We couldn’t have been happier with how the day went and are so grateful to everyone who helped us in making that happen. However, our stand out supplier has to be our photographer, Cat. For me, choosing a photographer was one of the hardest decisions to make but from the moment we met, Cat made us feel so comfortable. She captured our day perfectly and now they are memories that will last forever.
Advice & Planning
Don't let other people’s opinions influence your decisions. Make sure you are completely happy with suppliers you chose. Each supplier we chose made us feel really comfortable and didn’t pressurize us into making any decisions we weren’t happy with.
