Daalarna Wedding Dress for Surrey Celebration

In the world of wedding dresses there are gowns with sleeves and there are gowns with sleeves, and we have to say Olivia's incredible puffed sleeve Daalarna wedding dress is certainly the latter. From the neckline to the train, we are pretty much obsessed! That's before we've even got to the beautiful bespoke veil and headband that were artfully paired with it. All the magic was captured by Recommended photographer Jason Mark Harris, and they chose Recommended gift list The Wedding Shop for their big day, which was styled with thought from beginning to end. Speaking of the end... just wait until you see the party shots complete with confetti and nine-piece band Groove Empire found through Recommended supplier Entertainment Nation. Olivia and Ben we'll give you this, you really know how to throw a wedding!

We wanted elements of a very traditional wedding but with a more cool sensibility and wanted it to feel relaxed. So we had long tables, speeches throughout the meal and the music choices helped. We wanted the evening to be a real party (hence Olivia's outfit change from her Daalarna wedding dress to an Alex Perry number), the nine piece band, disco ball, confetti and photo cabin all created the perfect vibe!

COLOUR THEME

Pink and green were the colours of the day. From the glassware to the candles this was followed to a T. Olivia and her sister even hand-tied pink velvet ribbons around 140 sage green napkins the day before. The dusky pink tumblers were also a lovely touch. Wild English flowers adorned the long tables and added some blue shades to complement the muted palette. Even the confetti, made from rose petals from Ben's parents garden, was every shade of pink and was a nice contrast to Olivia's white and green bridal bouquet.

STYLE

If you're looking for classic wedding style with a modern twist, then Olivia and Ben have really got it covered. From her stunning lace puffed sleeve Daalarna wedding dress to the personalised groom's ties with bespoke olive motifs, everyone looked incredible head to toe. We can't forget the blush pink satin bridesmaids dresses either. Or the groomsmen looking sharp and suave in their tails. Even their acoustic singer was on theme in pink. Okay, basically everyone looked amazing and we're feeling very inspired, is it summer again yet?
