Dagi & Mats

Photography by Pour Toi Photography
"Breathless" was the soundtrack used to accompany Dagi & Mats' elegant wedding film and that is exactly how you are going to feel once you have watched the magic captured by Loud Cinematography and swooned over the pictures by Pour Toi Photography. But it's no wonder everything was flawless as bride Dagi is a successful fashion, food and wedding blogger. Her dress was a classic strapless lace San Patrick gown fitting her like a glove, with her groom and best girls in equally gorgeous sartorial attire complimenting the Rastatt Residential Palace venue perfectly. I haven't even mention the blooms and dessert table yet, but believe me you are not going to want to miss them, all in delicious blush pink & gold tones and all looking unbelievably pretty as well as totally delectable.

The Venue

Dagi the Bride: I'm pretty much addicted to Instagram (check out my feed), it was more than a lucky break that I found a picture of our venue Rastatt Residential Palace on Instagram. I fell in love with the venue the moment I found it online and immediately had to find this adorable place. When we visited the castle for the first time, we knew that this would be the place for the best day in our lives!

The Dress

I was totally sure I would never ever get married in an strapless dress, so I tried on many different styles. At the end of the try-on I was asked to try this strapless San Patrick dream of a dress. My maid of honour started crying and when Verica from Brautatelier Tara added a veil, me and my bridesmaids followed. It was pretty clear that this was exactly this magical moment everybody is always talking about. But the fact of having naked shoulders left me wondering if this could really be the one. Some days later I went to another shop on my own, just to ensure myself. I tried on some dresses and then the lady came along with a dress 'that would perfectly fit my type even if it doesn't fit my idea of my dress'. It was exactly the same San Patrick dress as I tried on together with my bridesmaids. Out of 3000 dresses it found me again. Now I was sure.

The Sweet Table

The cake and many other perfect sweets were made by lovely Jasmina from Naschwerk & Co. We asked for a classic elegant cake to fit the venue. From the moment we ordered the sweets I was dreaming of cutting this super delicious piece of art! I added some homemade personalized wedding-cookies as a special eyecatching part to our sweet table. Only after a few minutes everything was eaten up.

DIY Projects

While the flowers were made by a professional florist, all the other decoration and papeterie were made by myself. As I studied design I have a pretty clear idea of how everything should look like. Gold and glitter were one of my basic elements to create this royal atmosphere.

The Food

Avocado provided all catering and was so great to work with. As we are both vegetarians, we wanted to serve vegetarian food for our guests as well. Many were suprised of how delicious and various vegetables can be!
