Romantic East Yorkshire Barns Wedding

From the rural setting to the boho styled reception, everything at this romantic East Yorkshire Barns wedding is making us giddy. Plus, music by, Recommended musician, Michael Mulholland who took requests from guests as well as playing the couples favourite songs.

Our day felt unique and special to us as it was the first time since the start of the pandemic that all our families had been together. It just made it so special and emotional to see all our family and friends together in one room after the past year and our numerous postponements to celebrate us. It was the first 'big' wedding of the season for most of our suppliers so everyone put extra energy into our day which we are so grateful for.

EAST YORKSHIRE BARNS

The inspiration behind the styling at our East Yorkshire Barns wedding was a boho vibe. All our guests loved the decor and said that the venue styling looked like a banquet out of Game of Thrones. The vibe of the day was just really chilled and fun, everyone was chatting, laughing and just catching up with each other. It was so nice to take a step back and see every one of our guests having the best day.

SUPPLIERS

East Yorkshire Barns made delaying our wedding twice so easy. They have been wonderful throughout, and we are grateful that they are allowing us to have our big celebration there later in the year. Also, Kazooieloki for capturing our day so perfectly, they are two of the nicest people around. We are just so happy that we are finally married and could not have wished for a better day. Love wins.

Alice and Zach enjoyed live music during their ceremony and reception; including The Imperial March from Star Wars.

Just enjoy every bit of it as it goes so fast. Try not to stress as it all works out on the day when you are surrounded by, great family, friends, and suppliers. One thing that COVID taught us was less is more. We feel now that 30 people was the perfect number. The day was genuinely about just two people who love each other getting married surrounded by closest family and friends.
