We chose our suppliers through Instagram, searching online, and Rock My Wedding for inspiration. Because we don't live in Northern Ireland, we had no friends for recommendations, so it took lots of searching!
Cicely & Andrew
Cicely had her wedding dress altered quite a lot to make her feel more comfortable and confident during the wedding and Cicely was so glad she made all those changes. Looking back at the wedding photos, Cicely is proud to say that she felt good and confident next to her bridesmaids in coral peach bridesmaid dresses! Nothing is more important than being comfortable! To complete her look, Cicely customised her wedding shoes with those sequin shoe clips we're obsessed with! Cicely's dad also added his own personal touch with stained glass at the top of the aisle, which the couple plans to put on their front door.
Cicely & Andrew's wedding at The Wool Tower was full of so many personal touches. Andrew's parents organised bagpipes to play the guests in while Cicely's mum and dad both walked her down the aisle. The reading in the ceremony was chosen by Andrew's granny and read by his sister, Kathryn. They used fabric from one of Cicely's granny's dresses for the handfasting. Plus, Cicley's brother, Felix, was master of ceremonies and her sister, Clarice, did a maid of honour speech. The couple also had a traditional Irish 'ring warming' where all the guests held the rings and blessed them before the couple put them on.
Cicely: I loved our ceremony, Trevor (our celebrant) made it so fun and personal, and also the speeches and the ceili - I laughed so much. And I loved the street food van later at night!
Andrew: I loved the piper playing bagpipes when we arrived and getting all of our pals up dancing together in the ceili was terrific.Cicely & Andrew
