What Made Out Day Unique

It was really amazing seeing everything come together on the day. The venue itself is so unique, we didn’t want to have anything that would fight with the beautiful greenery and instead compliment it and allow it to be the hero. When I walked into the space and heard the quartet playing the songs we requested, I was really overwhelmed. I remember standing on the balcony in the conservatory waiting for people to come up for photos during the drinks reception, the quartet was playing Crazy in Love and I was watching everyone mingling and enjoying the music. I loved having everyone who’s special to us in one room.

Inspiration & Styling

It was a city wedding inside the Barbican so we thought something too traditional wouldn’t work. The bridesmaids wore these amazing orange dresses from Zara which started us off of introducing colour pops here and there. The venue has so much green around that we avoided neutral tones and went a bit bolder with florals etc.
