Uhm, this fitted fishtail wedding dress? Yes, perleaaase. Alice looks absolutely radiant in her gown, that works beautifully with her low up-do. Having just 15 guests at their micro wedding, Jamie & Alice were sure they didn’t compromise on style! Opting for florals displayed in gin bottles and a live streaming of the ceremony. They were also treated to surprise video messages from family & friends! Jamie’s best man also brewed some bottled beer as a wedding gift - now that’s something we’d be happy to receive. Our original wedding day was planned for May 2020, however due to COVID, we had to postpone until October 2020. Our wedding day changed from 110 guests to a micro wedding of just 15 people. We were surrounded by our immediate families and closest friends. We wouldn't change it for the world.
PERSONAL TOUCHES
With only 15 of us, it was a very different day to what we had originally planned. But, it was still beautifully romantic and intimate. The venue spoke for itself, so we knew we didn't want to add too much decor! We just wanted to add some personal touches to reflect us as a couple. We had 10 polaroid pictures on the table, one for each year we had been together. Our favours were ‘love spoons’ from Wales, where we got engaged!
FAVOURITE MOMENT
It's so hard to pick just one favourite moment! But when Poppy, our photographer, snuck us away for our couples photoshoot after the wedding ceremony - that was really special. We could allow ourselves a moment to catch up on each other's mornings and ask how they went. We treasured those first moments together as husband and wife. Walking into the barn afterwards to a round of applause as they announced us as Mr & Mrs, that was pretty cool too!
We absolutely love the personal touches Alice & Jamie included. Those little extras can make all the difference!
Our friends and family always said, don't focus too much on those tiny details, your day will still be amazing - and they were absolutely right!
