Inspiration

It's no secret we love a tipi wedding, but this relaxed affair at Inkersall Grange Farm really takes the cake. Oh, and if you ever dared to think stunning off the shoulder wedding dresses and ice cream vans didn't go together, you would be wrong. In fact, we've never seen ice cream and pizza (yes. they had both.) in such a glorious setting! Jen and Kelvin's stroll down a secluded country lane during golden hour with Recommended photographer Shaun Walker was a personal highlight, and the evening set up has got us all starry-eyed. We've never seen a tipi look this... well, good? Glowing may be a better word, and the fairy lights and fire pit certainly saw to that. Basically it feels like we've fallen into a cosy country wedding dream, and we're probably going to stay here until winter is over. Unless... did somebody mention cake?

Country tipi wedding at Inkersall Grange Farm with Enzoani wedding dress.

Our favourite moment? Having time away for photos just the two of us. This was so important to us as it is so easy to get caught up with all your guests! We also loved our first dance, which was not something we were particularly looking forward to. But in that moment we forgot everyone around us and felt like it was just the two of us.

DETAILS

Let's take a minute to appreciate the incredible details at this Inkersall Grange Farm wedding. Firstly, that Enzoani wedding dress. Erm, wow. Off the shoulder, delicately embroidered and with the prettiest arm detailing we ever saw. But Kelvin was not to be overshadowed in his three piece suit from Moss Bros. and Dr. Martens. Pretty suave we do say! The cake was made by Kelvin's mum (another wow from us! Just check out the flower garland on that...) and a family friend did all the bouquets and buttonholes. A third wow is in order for how good the supermarket florals on the tables looked that Jen and Kelvin bought and arranged themselves two days before. A fun way to get creative before the big day, and save some money too!

INKERSALL GRANGE FARM

So, you like tipis, and you like fairy lights. Maybe you like the idea of a venue with no one else around? Just you and all your loved ones on one of the most special days of your lives. Perhaps you like relaxed vibes, and often enjoy strolling down country lanes. (Albeit normally without a photographer, and probably not usually in a wedding dress...). But Inkersall Grange Farm offered all of this and more to Jen and Kelvin, and was the perfect canvas for their relaxed rustic vibes. Shaun their photographer had even been married there himself so knew all the best places to get some incredible shots! If that isn't good planning, we don't know what is.

Choosing a venue with beautiful surroundings is a great way to get those must-have wedding shots.

We loved the country feel of Inkersall Grange Farm and being completely surrounded by greenery and fields with no other buildings in sight! The venue was very private and was just our loved ones who could be a part of the day. We also loved how much open space we had around the venue with the country lanes, fields and woods.
