Adoring crowds cheered and a busker played this couple their favourite song as they walked through Camden Town after saying I do at their COVID secure July 2020 wedding ceremony. Everything was small, simple and meaningful, and despite only being able to say their vows in front of 30 of their closest family and friends rather than their original 350 guest list they couldn't have wished for a better wedding day. Story + Colour captured every emotion and moment of pure joy to perfection, you can feel like love radiating from the page.
What Made Our Day Unique
During coronavirus we thoughout our wedding would be cancelled. We had a tough decision and ended up taking the plunge. From 350 guests to 30! The day went better than we imagined. We even ended up on a shoot in Camden where we had our first dance with a busker and were cheered on by many strangers!

July 2020 Wedding
Asha and Dipil are both dentists who had been working in full PPE during lockdown, but decided they couldn't wait to be husband and wife any longer so swapped their scrubs for wedding attire and got married at The Old Marylebone Town Hall in London on 18th July 2020. They cut their original guest list down from 350 people to 30 close family and friends and called upon talented Dan from Story + Colour Photography to capture their day as it unfolded. After the ceremony, they went to Camden Town for some special couples portraits where they were congratulated by passers-by and serenaded by a local busker as they had their first dance. When I think of how euphoric this must have felt it makes my heart burst. Love isn't cancelled, and love always wins.
Inspiration & Styling
We wanted it to be very natural, stress free and it was exactly that! One of favouite moments was our photoshoot with Dan from Story + Colour in Camden. Even if you think it is not possible, you can overcome anything to have a magical wedding. Be adaptable and go with the flow, and it will work out!
