Inspiration

A classic day followed by an epic party at this Kirtlington Park wedding. The couple thought about every little detail, wanting everything to reflect them as individuals and as a couple, so little things were important! The day began with a classic, romantic ceremony in the stunning stately home, where the bride wore a Liz Martinez wedding dress and the groom looked handsome in a tuxedo. This was followed by an amazing party where the bride had an outfit change and put on her second dress of the day, a glamorous Galia Lahav dress that she got from Brides Do Good, and the groom played the opening set on the decks. The atmosphere was electric and the room was definitely filled with love and laughter!

WHAT MADE OUR DAY UNIQUE

"We are blessed to have a beautiful and diverse circle of friends and family spread across the globe. For us the day was about bringing those people together to enjoy the day as much as us we knew we would, to let their hair down, whilst enjoying the intimate beauty and graceful setting of Kirtlington Park. Whilst Carina was determined not to follow traditional expectations, Folu wanted to ensure they marked the day with the splendour and party it deserved! He marked this by playing one of the opening sets at the reception on the decks! We wanted the day to reflect us as individuals and as a couple. There was a lot of thinking about the small touches, from the wording on our save the dates, to our cake boxes - we wanted it to be authentically us." - Carina & Folu

Kirtlington Park Wedding

Kirtlington Park wedding venue was the perfect space for this couple to celebrate becoming husband and wife. Bringing in the feel of the stunning gardens by incorporating whimsical florals and climbing foliage for the ceremony and then turning the Great Hall into a party palace for the evening with a 1920's glass bar and amazing table displays where their guests could let their hair down and dance the night away.

INSPIRATION & STYLING

"Once we found Kirtlington Park our styling journey began. From Carina's initial leaning to boho glam, and all things countryside including water, we realised that we needed to up the anti somewhat to ensure we complemented the impeccable, timeless luxurious styling of the Buxton's (owners of Kirtlington Park wedding venue). Passionate about sustinability and local nature, we wanted to ensure that during the ceremony our flowers spoke to the whimsical, natural and romantic feel of the local area, (candles and sweeping & climbing displays) but that the Great Hall and evening party had the wow factor, with highlighting accents like our 1920s glass bar and dramatic table display." - Carina & Folu
