What Made Our Day Unique
What makes your day unique is you and the people you choose to celebrate your day with. We just wanted a big party for our friends and family to come together and have a belter, which was definitely achieved! But I have to say, the speeches were a big part of our day too and when everyone came and joined us on the dance floor for our first dance. We went into our own little cocoon and were able to just absorb the day, the two of us surrounded by everyone we love. Honestly, the list could go on, but that just goes to show it is the people around you that make it your day.
Le Petit Chateau
The Northumberland wedding venue, Le Petit Chateau, played host to this magical day. This luxury French, country manor was the ideal location for this couples winter wedding, complete with shabby chic styling and blended with elegance and beauty, a truly unique wedding venue wrapped up in history. Along with the venue, the bride's dress was beautiful, opting for a three-piece option from Charlie Brear it was the perfect ensemble to accompany this elegant day, teamed with the black bridesmaid dresses which looked incredible. All the bridal party were clutching beautiful white rose and foliage bouquets from Fleur Couture Floral again, so classy and elegant and suiting the wintery vibes excellently.Inspiration & Styling
We definitely didn’t have a ‘theme’ for the day. Again, being a winter wedding the style and mood is already set for you. Going with this we just wanted to complement the day with very natural, wintery vibes. Music is a big part of lives so we had to bring as much of that to the day as possible - music squeezed in at every opportunity!
Advice
Remember to take time for the two of you on your wedding day. This was the best advice we received, and we did this by having a sweetheart top table and having a 10-minute breather between the day and the evening to take it all in. And do that - take it all in and enjoy it. Let the mistakes wash over you because there will be some, and crack on having a belter!
