Little Wold Vineyard

Nestled in the heart of East Yorkshire is Little Wolds Vineyard, owned and farmed by the Wilson family for three generations. The farm has undergone many changes over the last 80 years but since the vines were first planted in 2012 the family haven’t looked back. The venue itself overlooks the 30-acre site at the top of a wolds valley. It is completely off-grid and sustainability is at the heart of all they do. From the wildflower meadows, bushy hedges and over 10,00 grape vines onsite - it really is the perfect place to raise a glass.

INSPIRATION

The inspiration came from our environment, on our doorstep. We foraged from the vineyard and used what we had to hand including our local flower growers, keeping flower miles to a minimum, supporting our Bee communities and the best of Yorkshire flowers. The décor was pulled together by a local, creative stylist using the colours of the flowers and curves of the landscape as inspiration.

Fashion

Holly, the dress designer and maker brought us a selection of her new range of gowns which worked perfectly with the elegance of the Emmy of London shoes. Hair and makeup were kept natural and totally worked with the essence of the shoot. Natural beauty all the way. The suit tied in perfectly, again bringing in the natural tones of the shoot allowing the flowers and landscape to do the talking.

Inject fun and colour into your wedding whilst still making sustainable choices.

Little Wold Vineyard makes award-winning wines. Having a sparkling wine wall not only looks incredible but is also a great way for guests to sample their offerings.

Just like Recommended florist Wonderland Blooms, we're obsessed with colour and all things wild. So if you like this vibrant inspiration at Little Wold Vineyard, you'll also this bright fiesta filled inspiration at Middleton Lodge.
