VISION

Warm, vibrant tones, vintage neon and 60's eyeliner. Combining the zest and glamour of the era with a contemporary twist accessible for todays cool, modern bride.

MIAMI LUXE

"When the Pantone Colour of the Year was announced ~ ‘Living Coral - A life-affirming coral hue with a golden undertone that energizes and enlivens with a softer edge’ ~ it reminded me of a retro 60’s Miami, a heady mix of bold brights, deco delights and heavy yet fresh fabrics. With clean lines and vibrant tones painting themselves across the vista. Swirling around my head were images of 60’s young love, aspirational and glamorous, starting new waves of fun. And with Miami being a golden haven for bowling during the ’60s, what more inspiring a venue could we have asked for than a retro bowling alley. And so, after gathering an awesome team, ‘Miami Luxe’ was created. " - Alicia Bennett

Living Coral

Never be afraid of colour because this gorgeous Living Coral inspiration has proven embracing brights can give you spectacular results. We love the mix of peonies, roses, ranunculus and dahlias in the immense floral arrangements, plus the statement wedding stationery with its bold fonts and minimalist design. And we never say no to a bit of neon, making excellent backdrops for the elegant wedding cakes and bride sitting on a rather plush velvet sofa. The texture is echoed with the tablescape chairs adding even more retro vibes to the concept with their fabulous deco design.

STYLING AND CONCEPT

"The Country Garden Florist and Rambling Rose Florist absolutely nailed the brief with spectacular big, bright blooms and oversized centrepieces. To embrace the theme, with the table styling we stayed quite graphic with sleek black cutlery and tall candlesticks but brought the 60's glam and with pink crockery, low champagne coupes and pink velvet chairs. We added gorgeous, knotted linens and graphic stationery to complete the look. Elsewhere we created lounge sets with more pink velvet, inspirational neon and more bright, hanging florals and The Bowling House provided the perfect backdrop, utterly embracing all the retro glamour we could ask for. We created three distinct looks ranging from the full princess style gown to a seriously cool beaded suit. Our thinking was that we didn't want to define a look to fit the theme as each bride has their own individual, beautiful style, instead we wanted to explore how different looks can complement and embrace the theme and breathe life into it. Just like the young love of 60's Miami, making their own waves." - Alicia Bennett
