This colourful Muslim wedding took place at the Conservatory in Painshill Park, Surrey. Wanting an elegant summer garden wedding, Samrah took inspiration from everything she had collated over the years on Instagram (since their engagement), and contacted relevant suppliers! Their portraits outside in the gardens look like something out of a fairytale, and are the perfect example at to why you should make time for that ‘Just Married’ photoshoot during your day! Their wedding also included the traditional Mendhi night, and reception party called Walima. We really can’t stop staring at this stunning bride & groom!

Muslim Wedding

Samrah & Ismail envisioned a simple and classy muslim wedding, which is a little different from a traditional South Asian wedding, which can have a lot going on! But, they ensured they were true to themselves and created the wedding they had both always wanted. Since their engagement in 2016, Samrah found much of her inspiration through Instagram, and built up a small wedding feed which she then used to find her suppliers!  

We absolutely love the idea of couples putting their own twists on tradition! Sometimes, you really do have to find the right balance, and allow yourself to think about what kind of wedding would make you happy. A perfect example of this is Neha & Olli’s wedding, in which they combined an Asian wedding with a traditional country house.
