Leanne and Tom postponed their vibrant Spring wedding for an intimate Autumn flurry complete with a harpist and natural wedding flowers. All of the celebrations took place at, Recommended wedding venue, Cripps Barn, with the impressive fireplace providing a cosy focal point for the nuptials. Leanne looks killer in a strapless mermaid wedding dress, and Tom equally so in a dapper tuxedo. Everything is pure goals and a great example of love winning against the odds.
An intimate wedding ceremony and reception at Cripps Barn filled with natural wedding flowers and love.
Our wedding was relaxed, and all about bringing us all together to get married. Flowers were a priority for us, we wanted them to be very natural and organic. Bringing the outside in.
We were so keen to get married and this was the main focus for us, especially after postponing our original date in May 2020. As a window dresser for the past decade, Leanne was inspired by a lot of the windows she had dressed using flowers and combined this with her favourites and a lot of green natural foliage to make the venue feel alive. Attention to detail was really key and the stationery, signage, favours were all linked in.
Covid restrictions reduced Leanne and Tom's guest list from 105 guests to 30. And then to 13!
When it comes to it all that matters is getting married. Everything else is immaterial. Meeting our suppliers helped us form a bond with them. We only chose those we trusted to give us the day we wanted. Many were found via the Rock My Wedding Recommended Venue & Suppliers directory.
Wedding flowers can really transform your venue. Leanne and Tom's choice to use natural wedding flowers at, Recommended wedding venue, Cripps Barn really complements the aesthetics of the rustic venue. They also provided some incredible backdrops for the wedding portraits. Listen to our wedding flowers podcast for lots of advice on all things floral.
