What Made Your Day Unique
The magical fairy lights and fireplace in the beautiful Cripps Barn made our winter wedding day feel extra special, unique and romantic. Everything from our private first dance by Damson Sky Duo, to the guests carving their own meat at the table, to doing a Brides speech, lighting up the sky with smoke bombs and sparklers, and doing a bride reveal before the ceremony made our day stand out. Guests loved the food including our second wedding cake of cheese - the perfect winter feast with meats, fresh bread and chutney, which kept everyone dancing all night - the dance floor was never empty!Lottie & Sam
Inspiration & Styling
The vibe was rustic and MAGICAL. We wanted everyone to feel warm and cosy inside the barn - the decor/styling was rustic wood with golds and navy to match the bridesmaid dresses and stationery. Lots of candles, fairy lights and hanging tealights, along with a wood-burning fire, foliage wrapped beams and beautiful rustic bouquets with white flowers and blue thistles. The inspiration behind the styling was wanting to match the vibe of Cripps Barn itself but really bringing it to life with romantic, personal touches (lots of photo frames and homemade signs).Lottie & Sam
First Look
We did a 'first look' or ‘bride reveal' before our ceremony which was one of the most special moments. This was a last-minute decision and weather dependant - of course, we ending up having the most beautiful day with winter sun and we are so glad we decided to do this to share our last kiss together before becoming husband and wife. Having been childhood sweethearts (from aged 14 and 16) and together for 12 years, it felt really right to have this informal moment together before the ceremony where we could share our excitement, nerves and love for each other before we said I do. (It was also important from a photography perspective to catch us together as bride and groom in the light before it got dark!)Lottie & Sam
