It's the 1st of April! But there is no April fooling around here. Although you might think so, as we're sharing a Christmas wedding today! Prepare yourself for Charlotte & Anthony's Notley Abbey wedding! The gorgeous Recommended venue, Notley Abbey, is perfect for a Christmas wedding! Anthony has children from a previous marriage, so the whole day was not only about Charlotte & Anthony, but the 3 children and officially becoming a family of 5.  It was a very family-focused day with 25 children present! All of the love and festive magic was captured by Recommended supplier, Suzy Elizabeth Photography. The couple also chose Recommended supplier, Prezola, for their gift list.

Notley Abbey Wedding

Charlotte & Anthony fell in love with Notley Abbey from the moment they went to visit. The overall vibe was a warm and cosy Christmas with burgundy being a key part of the colour scheme. The couple has always dreamed of a sparkling winter wedding on a cold crisp day. When they got engaged and first started to plan the wedding, they knew they wanted all the winter wedding decor! Including candles, Christmas trees, garlands, lanterns, and fairy lights. With the gold accents alongside the burgundy and blush pink, the winter warmth was magical. Everyone said after the event that each room was filled with so much warmth and love.

Favourite Moments

This Notley Abbey wedding was just magical, but some stand-out moments for both Charlotte & Anthony include getting ready in the morning and Anthony's eldest daughter (11 years old) seeing Charlotte in her dress for the first time. The emotion was something else! Plus, having the couple's portraits done and spending that alone time together.  They saw everyone they love in one room and realised that everyone was there just for them. The party in the evening was a highlight with an incredible DJ and a packed dancefloor. Finally, they finished the night off with fireworks. The perfect end to this winter wedding!

There’s just something so magical about Christmas weddings! We love them!

On the day itself, take it all in. The day passes by so quickly and we wish we took some more time to step back and see what was going on around us.
