Inspiration

Recommended suppliersEpic Love Story and Pink Palm Events got together to show couples that whatever size your wedding you can make it beautiful. They centred their inspiration around a pastel wedding dress, having fun together and including some incredible but well-chosen key elements. From the oversized bouquet, intimate picnic setup and colourful flowers, every detail makes this beach elopement sexy AF!

It's been a tough year for couples who had planned their wedding for 2020. Due to the stress of continually postponing I had 9 couples decide that they didn’t want to wait and got married within the restrictions. They decided it was too stressful to keep planning for it with all the uncertainty still surrounding weddings and so decided to take back control, a couple also decided to elope and take me with them to San Fran and NYC this year and next...  All those couples had zero regrets and are now fully enjoying married life!

PASTEL WEDDING DRESS

I decided to use the 2020 pastel trend (that no one really got to see in real weddings due to Covid) in a contemporary way with a sexy see-through colourful dress that really popped against the white sandy beach backdrop. I wanted to show couples that they can have outfits that defy traditional wedding expectations! And not have to encourage them to wear whatever they feel comfortable in.

ELOPING

To elope you just need someone to conduct the ceremony, an epic location, cool outfits, flights, accommodation, hair/makeup, a florist and a photographer! Potentially you could organise all of this in a week. I also wanted to show couples that eloping means you can go bigger on florals and the main bouquet! Because small is now LUXE!

Whatever your plans are, don’t have regrets! If you want to wear a pastel wedding dress and eat pizza on the beach do it! It's your day, your way. Always.

Now we have a road map and potentially a summer of weddings without any restrictions, One thing I hope the last year had taught couples is to rethink their numbers. Still!

Even though it won’t be long before restrictions are lifted and we can enjoy weddings with unlimited guests. We hope couples still continue to elope or choose smaller celebrations prioritising elements that are important to them. Be that a pastel wedding dress, epic bouquet or dream honeymoon destination. We're here for it!
