Inspiration

Annabelle & Tom said their I-do’s in a Peak District Wedding, followed by a walk through the woodland to Brookfield Manor. Originally planning for a larger wedding, due to COVID restrictions, their plans changed to something smaller. This allowed them to include a few personal touches, such as guests changing into their wellies and making the 700m walk to the reception venue! They were also able to open the 12 bottles of 50 year old vintage port the Groom had received at his Christening. Now that, sounds like a party. Oh, and check out that vintage car! We are loving the colour.

One of the loveliest things was looking out across the dining table and seeing the people we were closest to all enjoying each other's company.

The vibe of the day was elegant but relaxed. Although it was small we still wanted it to feel very special so it was important to us to do everything 'right'; dress in our best clothes and give our guests memorable food and wines. We had changed from the original Spring wedding to an Autumn wedding - the richer tones of the season were the inspiration for the flowers and detailing.

Peak District Wedding

When planning your wedding day, it’s always a good idea to think about your potential photos, and what they may look like! A Peak District wedding ensures the backdrop of your pictures will always look like something out of a fairytale. With countryside in abundance, you’ll be positively spoilt for choice! There are plenty of venues within the Peak District that are sure to accommodate you and your big day, regardless of how big or small it may be.

Like so many couples this year, we had to cope with a myriad of changes and disappointments. What we have learnt though is that a small wedding is by no means second best. If you really embrace it for the benefits - like having more time with your guests, introducing very personal elements, and being able to relax and enjoy it - it can be a perfect day
