Inspiration

An industrial wedding complete with a pink gypsophila cloud? Immaculate vibes. Kayleigh and Sam made their way down the aisle in a Christmas wedding complete with a relaxed feel. Kayleigh made her way over to Rock My Wedding for inspiration and help in finding her suppliers. With a pink and green colour scheme, their styling worked perfectly against the industrial backdrop. We absolutely love Kayleigh’s tea-length gown, complete with a crossover neckline. Not to mention her pearl headband - bang on trend! Of course, a couple with this much style would opt for Recommended Suppliers, The Wedding Shop, to supply their Gift List!

Pink gypsophila cloud for industrial style wedding

I used Instagram and Rock My Wedding articles to find a lot of the suppliers. We got to know them before booking, chatting extensively over Instagram for months! By the time it got to our day, it felt like they were all our friends. This was what we wanted from our suppliers, to ensure we felt comfortable and were in good hands during the day.

STYLING

We wanted to make sure our guests and ourselves felt relaxed. There was a party vibe during the whole day, which was why we decided to have live music pretty much all day, starting from the drinks reception! I was really inspired by interior colour trends, which is how I found the pink and green combo. Although it was a Christmas wedding, and we wanted a nod to that (green/ red) we didn’t want it to feel to festive. Hence the bright pink elements to make it a bit more modern.

ADVICE

Don’t sweat the small stuff! We had so many big things go wrong (my original dress was unsuitable, then it broke and I had to find a new one just days before the wedding!) We had many guest drop outs, including three bridesmaids and the best man (due to Covid). So many other little things. BUT, it really won’t stop you from having an amazing day if you just stop to appreciate all the things that go right!

We love Kayleigh’s choice of colour scheme. The perfect combinations!

We really felt that all our suppliers were incredible. They were our personal cheerleaders in the lead up to and during the wedding day - offering endless advice and support. As well as dancing and celebrating with us!
