Preserved flower wedding hair accessories by Luna & Wild
My studio is within a Grade 2 listed building, a former cotton mill in the village of Bollington in Cheshire. My office space was not quite large enough to create the scene I envisioned for the shoot, so I hired a larger unit in the mill. It acted as the perfect black canvas to showcase my new collection. The rooftop studio had lots of natural light, and the original ceiling beams were perfect for creating a drape installation backdrop.
Preserved Flower Accessories
I chose a selection of wedding dresses from two of my stockists. Bridal Serendipity supplied a gorgeous boho fringe sleeve dress and a polka dot two-piece by Shikoba Bride. And Lace and Co. Bridal shared a selection of modern bohemian dresses including a stunning hand-painted floral gown by Savin London. The floral patterned gown complemented the pastel preserved flower crowns beautifully.
Decor & Styling
For the main backdrop, I wanted to create a drape installation which could be changed up with props to create a diverse set of images to suit the varying pieces in my new collection. We created three different scenes, from a botanical greenhouse effect to a rustic bohemian space using dried and preserved flowers, ceramics and rubble.
Unlike fresh flowers, a preserved flower hair accessory will look good on your wedding day and beyond.
