This inspiration shoot by Recommended Supplier, Poppy Carter Portraits, is full of sugar, (pumpkin) spice and everything nice. A unique take on autumnal colours, it's the detailed finishing touches that bring this pumpkin spice wedding theme together. An orange-tipped veil and indoor blossom trees, as well as hanging Edison bulbs for a warm romantic glow.

A pumpkin spice wedding with ribbon ceremony, mood lighting and abundant foliage.

Real couple Ashlea & Sophie joined us as models and we involved them in every decision. Because every couple’s love is individual and this was no different.

For makeup, Emily Chantal Makeup used warm rust and plum tones. Sally from Hair By Duboux created soft feminine curls to frame Ashlea’s face for the first look before taking her hair into a soft half up/half down loose knot. For Sophie, Sally styled a smooth and sleek ponytail with a deep side part that gave a sophisticated glam look. Then switching to a simplistic chignon style bun for the second look.

Planning duo Events By Eleanor and Willow Tree Weddings were inspired by nature's crisp autumn mornings, leafy walks, and warm glowing sunsets. It’s important to us to highlight environmentally friendly options, so we showcased vintage furniture from Anthology Vintage Hire, botanically dyed textiles from Mia Sylvia and bespoke signage from Bewilderly. Hanging Edison bulbs over the tablescape and gold and amber tones in the tableware from CMA Hire created a lovely glowing atmosphere.

We featured two pre-loved dresses, bringing vintage style from Bridal Flamingo; an embroidered floor-length ivory dress and one with intricate pearl beading all over with batwing sleeves. Sophie wore a wine coloured suit to match the colour palette - she also chose a floral buttonhole to match Ashlea’s bouquet. Ashlea wore an incredible bespoke pearl and gold leaf headband, handmade by Donna Crain Surrey & an ombre dyed cape & veil by Bex Brides.

We love the combination of rustic, woodland and industrial glam vibes for an autumn wedding.

The Wedding Barn & Old Hall is a Grade 2 listed Suffolk barn that was recently restored to enhance its original beauty while adding modern elements.
