Isobel and George changed their plans several times but still had the most amazing Royal Automobile Club Wedding. Despite all the stressful planning of their day during the pandemic, it ended up being absolutely stunning in every way. And proof that with a great team of suppliers you can pull off a wedding even in the most challenging times.

Royal Automobile Club Wedding - A charming and grand theme with a relaxed and traditional vibe.

We decided to bring the wedding forward by a week. Giving our suppliers and guests exactly three days notice. After all the ongoing stress, we had the most perfect Royal Automobile Club Wedding.

Isobel & George

George and I were quite relaxed about the styling of the day. But we also wanted something quite traditional. The overall look stemmed from conversations with each of our suppliers and trusting them to create something beautiful. We originally planned a spring wedding so everything had been planned with this in mind. Because of the date change(s) Joanne had to source more seasonal flowers. Although no-one believes me, it was a complete coincidence that the bridesmaids' dresses perfectly matched the colour of my dad's vintage car!

The church service was definitely my favourite part of the day. After everything, finally being able to walk down the aisle with my father by my side was so special and I'll never forget it. I grew up going to the church so there was something really meaningful about getting married there. Not to mention, our vicar Dan was completely wonderful and worked so hard to make the service special. I am very fortunate that my brother is an incredible opera singer, so when we were forced to cancel the choir and string-quartet, he stepped in and saved the day!

Isobel & George

Isobel & George had the most opulent affair for their Royal Automobile Club Wedding. Celebrations at The Royal Automobile Club can be as relaxed or formal as you want at the private members' club.  The iconic central London venue has traditional charm with grand décor which fit well with their theme of a relaxed but traditional vibe.

Relax and enjoy it! It's easier said than done when planning a wedding during a pandemic, but try not to spend time worrying about things you have absolutely no control over.
