Inspiration

This is the wedding of a farmers Daughter, at home, in a beautifully decorated Sperry tent within a stunning garden with pastel fairy tale florals. Complete with a tractor escort, roaming band and a saxophone church entrance. We can't cope! I mean this is a jam-packed swoon fest.  Millinery Bride Georgina looks absolutely sensational in her dress by friend Sassi Holford with ivory Ostrich feathers on the veil as a nod to her profession which is just a delightful personal touch.  The florals throughout this wedding will take your breath away and just as RMW's Charlotte O'Shea advises in our Podcast, they are reused and relocated to decorate the top table which is a wonderful way of spreading the cost throughout your day and extend the enjoyment you get from your flower choices.  RMW The List Members featured in this wedding include phenomenal photographer Melissa Beattie, dream Marquee & Tipi specialist Papakata, Warble Entertainment, and superduper York Place Films

Georgina & Stephen: I set my own Millinery business up 4 years ago and love all things fashion and design…especially feathers. Sassi and I decided to incorporate some ostrich feathers onto my veil. We used the lace from my bodice onto my veil which grew up the veil from the bottom and attached the ivory ostrich feathers which added a delicate touch.

The Marquee, Sperry Tent by Papakata

The main reception was held in an amazing Papakata Sperry tent. It was everything we had dreamed of and perfect in every way. We re-used the flowers from the church on the top table which was perfect. It was so effective without being over the top. We wanted to dress the Sperry Tent up and make it more glamorous/luxurious so we used round leather backed Isla chairs, mirrored round bar, and white LED dance floor which dressed up the Sperry perfectly and was supplied by Furniture 4 Events.

Entertainment

The Music – this was really important to me as I play the saxophone myself and we wanted our wedding day to have elements of music running all the way through. I really wanted to walk down the aisle to the saxophone so a good friend of mine Mark (Vibe Music Agency) played an emotional/moving entrance of ‘The Wedding Song’ by Kenny G. RMW: Along with another four forms of Musicians throughout the day and evening Georgina and Stephen had Tree’s Alive which were supplied by The List members Warble Entertainment. "There were amazing and started by greeting our guests in the car park to interacting with our guests during the reception."
