St Dunstan in the East church gardens is a little slice of heaven in the concrete jungle of London. Perfect for offering couples a secluded picturesque area infused with nature. The images captured of real couple Claudia and Will by The Chamberlains Wedding Photography are nothing short of breathtaking. Not only does the location provide the perfect backdrop for the portraits. but the couple and their connection light up the images. We also LOVE their style. Hello, satin wedding dress, faux fur coverup and hat.
“To add to the nature-sque vibe we envisioned, we without a doubt wanted dramatic bouquets and specifically, a floral hair-comb for our beautiful bride. Rachel from House of Dandelions really took on board the theme and provided us with two bouquets, two buttonholes and a hair-comb as examples of what you could with such a moody colour palette. The hair comb was a stunning part of the bridal look and something you don’t see a lot of brides wear as much! The mixture of class and floral really brought the shoot to life and was a major highlight. “ – Will and Celle Chamberlin
“We’ve been a big fan of Louise Raph’s work for a while and so we immediately reached out to her when planning as we knew her designs would work perfectly with the classy yet natural theme we had in mind. She’s an excellent vendor and incredibly skilled at what she does. We’re also so grateful to have worked with Carole from Laik Style. Her natural hand-dyed fabrics and ribbons were beautiful and really added to the bouquets we had and was the perfect touch for our flat-lay photos too. ” – Will and Celle Chamberlin
St Dunstan in the East
Sneaking off for couples portraits with your photographer is so important, they’ll be the images you’ll pop on your wall and share with family. These stunning portraits captured by The Chamberlain’s Wedding Photography prove how important it is to find an incredible backdrop like St Dunstan in the East. Even in an urban location, you can be at one with nature.
“We don’t normally do styled shoots as sometimes they can feel very inaccessible or just perfect for Pinterest, but not for a real-life couple. So, we wanted to focus on having a genuine couple, and our lovely models, Claudia and Will are actually a real-life married couple whom we know from our local church. Will is also the founder of Vitae London, the stunning watch brand we collaborated with and that has a huge focus on social justice. We knew they’d be perfect to showcase elegance and romance all in one given who they are as people and what they stand for. Plus, how good is it to have some more representation of black brides and couples? We very much need more diversity in the wedding industry and our hope is that our shoot will encourage other gorgeous black couples to feel inspired during their wedding planning and process. ” – Will and Celle Chamberlin

As photographers, Will and Celle Chamberlin quite rightly stated “how good is it to have some more representation of black brides and couples? – We very much need more diversity in the wedding industry.” We couldn’t agree more and are so pleased to be able to share with you Purity and Eliot’s Devonshire Terrace London wedding, who also snuck off to St Dunstan in the East with their photographer for some couples portraits. Plus, an article dedicated to inclusivity in the wedding industry titled Black Brides Matter.
