Lauren and Jo's St George's Hall Liverpool Wedding happened as a result of the global pandemic. Their original plans were to elope in Boston, USA. But in hindsight, getting married in Liverpool made their day so much more special for so many reasons. Get ready to be wowed by the kind of celebration that we have all dreamed about. Quite simply, a celebration of love and family.
Love is Love
Our St George's Hall Liverpool Wedding meant that our parents could attend and our fathers were able to walk us down the aisle. We were able to get married in our adopted hometown of Liverpool with some of its quirky locations used as the backdrop for our fabulous photographs. Our two close friends were also able to act as witnesses which was amazing for us! Our gorgeous son Jonah provided entertainment throughout the ceremony by constantly babbling. He was in his own little world singing away to himself and it was just the cutest! Our family denim jackets portrayed a key message of 'Love is Love' and that message is really important for us to share.
St Georges Hall Liverpool Wedding
Set in the heart of Liverpool, St George's Hall is one of the city's landmark wedding venues. Despite Lauren and Jo having to change their USA elopement plans, their St Georges Hall Liverpool Wedding was the best place to begin their happily ever after. The Grade 1 listed building oozes pride and passion. It was purpose-built and designed to lift the human heart beyond here and now. Beyond the everyday and ordinary. Making it a flawless backdrop for wedding celebrations.
The first thing on our list with our rearranged plans was a photographer, having followed Amy Faith on Instagram for a number of years we were continually impressed with her style of photography. Amy helped us to create one of our favourite moments from our special day. When she asked us to say an inspirational word at the same time and having already had a glass or two of champagne, it gave us one of the most natural but hilarious photographs of the day! A moment captured on camera and one we will never forget.
Love Conquers All
If there is one thing we can learn from Lauren and Jo's St George's Hall Liverpool Wedding it is do your own thing! Don't plan for anyone else but yourselves. Also, plans change, it can be disheartening but sometimes the alternative can actually surprise you. Most of all remember "Love Conquers All".
