There ain't no party like a Stanford Farm Pride party! Catriona and Emma celebrated their love, Pride and being surrounded by all their favourite people in a beautiful rustic venue. Cat & Emma held colourful umbrellas, posed next to rainbow festival flags, and everyone dined under twinkling fairy lights at the reception. Cat wore a strapless lace wedding dress with converse trainers, and Emma killed it in a navy suit and brown brogues. And even though it rained, it didn't dampen their spirits once. The live music at our wedding was incredibly special to us. Nina Harries played two beautiful pieces, which our guests were either crying at or singing along to. The Trends wedding band were also exceptional, and the dance floor remainded packed from the beginning of the recepton to end of the evening.
Stanford Farm Wedding
One of the reasons Catriona & Emma choose Stanford Farm in Shropshire to host their wedding was because of its relaxed festival vibe. They hired festival flags from The Event Flag Hire Company to help with styling. They came in an array of colours to honour Pride and looked sensational against the neutral backdrop of the venue. Cat & Emma also carried rainbow umbrella's sheltering them from the rain, which didn't dampen their spirits once throughout the day.
Wedding Ideas
Fairy lights and foliage decorated the rustic reception, where Cat & Emma delivered a joint wedding speech. They also crafted lots of DIY wedding signs, including a wooden palette order of the day sign they hand painted, and a chalkboard seating chart. The ultimate idea, and what's really stolen our hearts is the photo corner full of snaps of their grandparents - a lovely way to honour couples who have inspired you.
Wear a wedding dress, wear a bridal suit - we're here for it!
Our advice to couples is - don't stress, everyone is on your side. We used our venue's recommended list of suppliers to shortlist suppliers. Places like Rock My Wedding and Instagram are also great resources.
It's clear to see from start to finish Cat & Emma's wedding at Standford Farm is full of love and fun.
