Susie is obviously a trend setter as her gorgeous palette of blush pink & blue are now this years Pantone colour(s) of the year, and what a gorgeous combination they are too. So delicate, so feminine and absolutely the perfect pastel hues for their vintage, shabby chic inspired day at the fabulous Newton Hall. She looks so classically beautiful and elegant in her Morilee Blu collection gown with long tousled locks and dreamy pink rose and gypsophila bouquet. Her gorgeous Bridesmaids and Flowers girls look utterly adorable by her side too. And how can I forget her Groom in his sharp Hugo Boss suit. Such a stylish, well dressed wedding party. The Venue

Susie The Bride: As soon as we walked through the doors at Newton hall we knew this place was for us! It was quirky and beautiful. We loved the location in the countryside and the beautiful sandy shores of northumberland coastline just a stone throw away. The staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble, we can't thank them enough! The canapés, wedding breakfast and buffet they supplied was delicious and all our guest complemented on this.

Decor

Flawless Weddings and Events did our venue styling for us, which looked so pretty and just how we envisioned. We worked very closely with them, I decorated jam jars and my Dad Peter grew all the flowers for the centre pieces. It's important to keep the Dad's included in your preparations! Flawless also provided our balloon send off for loved ones who couldn't be with us on our wedding day. It was such a lovely touch. Stationery Splash out on your invites if you can, it sets the scene for the day and all our guests commented on how gorgeous they were. Very professional service from WISHcrafts.

Dress

I chose a Morilee Blu Collection gown from Kathryn Truman, the girls there are exceptional! They were so friendly, helpful and honest. I can't thank them enough. I felt so beautiful on my day and more importantly comfortable. You are in the dress for a such a long time, you need to be comfy otherwise you will not be able to relax & enjoy your day to the max!

Grooms Fashion

Andy felt amazing head to toe Hugo Boss and looked so handsome too? The sales guys in the store in Newcastle were faultless, it was an absolute pleasure shopping there.

Florist

Our Florist Christine at Lavenders Blue made the most beautiful bouquets and button holes which she had delivered to the hall. She is award winning for a reason, they were stunning.

Cake

I'd seen a cake I liked on Pinterest and showed Jenn at For Goodness Cakes the picture and that's what I got, Amazing! Jenn comes and has a chat with you, brings loads of different cakes for you to try and comes highly recommend.

Videographer

One piece of advice I'm so glad I took. Get a videographer!! It is so lovely to be able to watch your day back, you miss so many moments on the day. It's a must!! Richard Hijlkema is a friend of mine he is so professional and to be honest I forgot he was there he's that good at what he does.  Photographer What can I say, Sarah-Jane Ethan is just amazing. Our pictures are beautiful. Memories and friendship have been captured and made for life! She is so bubbly and works so so hard. We just love her to bits! 

Entertainment

Coco Luminaire provided our light up love letters. Adamski provided our Photo Booth which kept the kids entertained for hours!! We had a candy cart provided by Flawless.  Our mate Richie and his five piece band rocked our evening reception the dance floor was full all night! 

Advice

Keep it local if you can. It's much easier to pop down the road for meetings and collections. Provide transport for guests if you can.  Look on Pinterest for ideas.  Buy shoes & jewellery that you can wear again.  And finally relax and have fun xx
