While the couple recently shared the "hardest part" of their marriage on the new show, David and Victoria Beckham have one of the longest celebrity marriages. The British soccer legend, 48, and his Spice Girl-turned-fashion designer wife, 49, who the British press affectionately nicknamed them 'Posh and Becks', started dating in 1997 and tied the knot in July 1999. In their 24 years of marriage, Victoria Beckham has had, not one, not two, but 15 engagement rings to show for it! From classic diamonds to colourful gemstones, we take a deep dive into Victoria Beckham's engagement rings over time...

Victoria Beckham’s engagement rings - 15 iconic engagement rings worth over £32 million!

In the glamorous world of celebrity engagements, few things capture attention quite like celebrity engagement rings. And when it comes to iconic engagement ring styles over time, Victoria Beckham's collection is a cut above the rest. Over the years, the fashion icon has donned a dazzling array of engagement rings that reflect not only the evolution of her style but also the milestones in her personal life.

How many engagement rings does Victoria Beckham have?

Throughout Victoria & David Beckham’s 24 years of marriage, Victoria Beckham has had a whopping total of 15 engagement rings. Starting with the ring David first proposed with in 1998 all the way up to 2018, we take a closer look at all 15 of Victoria Beckham's engagement rings over time.

Does Victoria Beckham wear a wedding ring?

The answer is not very often! VB decides to keep things minimal and lets these huge precious gemstones and diamonds speak for themselves. Occasionally, as seen with her 2006 yellow diamond ring, Victoria Beckham will wear an eternity band paired with her engagement ring for a bespoke look.

We spoke to UK retailer Steven Stone’s leading diamond expert, Maxwell Stone, to get a valuation of this extensive ring collection. The diamond expert said, From diamonds and rubies to emeralds and sapphires, Victoria’s engagement ring collection contains some of the world’s finest precious gemstones. Worth over £32,000,000, it showcases both her penchant for expensive jewels and her longstanding reputation as a trendsetter.

Victoria and David Beckham have been married for 24 years and in that time, David has bought the former Spice Girl a total of 15 engagement rings – most of which have a value of over £1,000,000!

David’s new Netflix documentary series follows the couple's story from the start, presenting us with the key moments of their relationship – including their engagement. When David got down on one knee in 1998, he proposed with a 3ct marquise cut diamond, set on a plain yellow gold band, that’s worth around £65,000.

The Solitaire Diamond: A Classic Start

1998: Marquise cut diamond with yellow gold band - £65,000

In 1998, David Beckham proposed to Victoria with a stunning marquise-cut solitaire diamond set on a yellow gold band. This ring set the stage for what would become a vast collection of iconic engagement rings. The simplicity and elegance of the marquise diamond showcased Victoria's classic and timeless sense of style.

2001: Platinum eternity band - £20,000

Victoria Beckham stopped wearing her marquise-cut diamond ring and moved onto a platinum set eternity band. The simple but no less extravagant ring was the only band she wore. It’s a 2 in 1!

A Love for Colour: Gemstones and Beyond

2003: Emerald cut diamond with side baguettes on a platinum band - £1.2M

Venturing beyond traditional diamonds, Victoria later embraced colourful gemstones. Among her most notable pieces is a captivating oval-cut emerald set on a diamond-encrusted band. This ring signals her adventurous side and willingness to experiment with vibrant hues.

The Pink Diamond: Femininity and Elegance

2004: Pink oval cut diamond with halo setting - £2.5M

Marking another style transformation, Victoria was spotted with a breathtaking pink diamond ring. Set in a halo of smaller white diamonds and resting on a platinum band, this ring epitomises femininity and luxury. 2004 was also the year Victoria Beckham turned 30! David gifted this sparkling pink diamond ring for her birthday. The decadent ring cost  $1.1 million at the time.

2005: Pear cut diamond on a platinum pave band - £3.8M

The next ring obviously had to top that stunning pink diamond ring, which is why this stunning diamond was 17 carats! This is a fave for Mrs Beckham as she still wears it regularly.

2006: Emerald cut diamond on a pave band - £2.2M

This yellow diamond was normally worn with two diamond eternity bands for a bold statement look. It’s entrancing, we’re struggling to look away.

Modern Takes: Sleek Designs and Bold Choices

In recent years, Victoria Beckham has gravitated towards more contemporary designs. Noteworthy among them is a chic, cushion-cut diamond set on a spiral band, reflecting modern aesthetics and the evolving nature of engagement ring trends.

2007: Cushion cut emerald with a platinum spiral setting - £3M

We start to enter Victoria Beckham’s gemstone era with this beautiful emerald cushion cut engagement ring. Divine!

2008: Emerald cut diamond on a pavé band - £3.8M

This one comes with a sunglasses warning, look at that sparkle! This ring is a bigger version of Victoria Beckham’s 2006 ring without the colour.

2009: Oval cut ruby with a diamond halo - £5M

Mounted in a beautiful white diamond setting, this ruby engagement ring is one of the most eye-catching rings from the whole collection.

2010: Oval cut sapphire on a platinum pave band - £5M

Completing the precious gemstone set (because what 15 ring collection wouldn’t have precious stones in it), is this immaculate sapphire ring. There’s something about sapphire that’s so elegant! Maxwell Stone, a leading diamond expert, reports that While Victoria’s first ring is no doubt sensational, it features one of the most modest stones in her collection – particularly when it’s compared to the sapphire engagement ring that she received in 2010. Featuring a 15-20ct high-quality sapphire on a platinum pave band, the ring is likely to be worth a staggering £5,000,000 and is by far her most impressive sparkler.

2010: Pink diamond oval cut on a gold band - £1.5M

Oh yes, two rings in one year? I think we need to re-look at our standards. Reducing the size heavily from her previous sapphire, this pink diamond ring is so stunning. Victoria was obviously a fan of this one because she had it for 5 years.

2015: Round cut diamond trinity ring with a halo setting - £1.5m

This more traditional engagement ring only lasted for a few months before Victoria Beckham retired it to the vaults.

2015: Moonstone ring set in a diamond-encrusted platinum band - £30,000

Posh Spice had a more unique ring this year. The fashion designer wowed everyone with this moonstone engagement ring.

2016: Square cut diamond on a platinum pave band - £1M

Debuting this bad boy at Cannes 2016, VB completely rocked this simple ring and it’s so classy.

2018: Square cut yellow diamond on a platinum pave band - £2M

Hey Upper East Siders, Victoria Beckham rocked her most recent engagement ring in New York. Similar to her last ring, this square cut canary yellow diamond is simple and classy.
