What Made Our Day Unique

We've been together for 14 years so it was easy to make every aspect of the wedding align with our style and our story. We both love photography so we featured them heavily, with a baby picture of me on the door to the ladies toilets and one of Robbie on the mens, individual photo place settings for each of the 200 guests, a photo slide show on a big screen and a photo wall. The wedding was very personal - we wanted it to be a festival of love and a celebration of all the wonderful people in our lives so we put lots of thought into every little detail.

Inspiration & Styling

We mixed traditional Hindu rituals with more modern, bohemian twists (Robbie wore an Indian outfit with a turban in the day and a pink suit with a floral shirt and no tie in the evening!). We wanted the day to be chilled out and fun for everyone - we had a band cover our favourite songs, a bubble machine, a campervan photo booth and prosecco served with candy floss. The truth is the Palm House doesn't need much styling. We stuck to floral and gold touches, rustic wood for the mandap, fairy lights and uplights to enhance the plants and trees in the evening and homemade decor. We made table numbers, a table seating plan, tattoo stand and lots of signs.
