WHAT MADE OUR DAY UNIQUE
"We added our own personal touches to make sure the day felt unique and special to us. For example, we decorated the reception area with childhood photographs, which made the guests giggle! The bride’s mum, Jenni, made the wedding cake from scratch. It was a chocolate biscuit refrigerator cake (Kate and Will had the same one at their wedding!) and all of the chocolate shards were made by hand and added for decoration, along with fresh rose petals. Our good friend Matt Hutt played ‘our songs’ on an acoustic guitar during the wedding ceremony which made it feel very personal." - Kate & Gareth
Ivory, Gold and Grey Colour Scheme
The right styling ties everything together, creating a cohesive concept from your save the date starting point to your thank you cards when the 'I dos' are done and dusted. Kate & Gareth's ivory, gold and grey colour scheme is romantic, elegant and timeless, creating the whimsical wedding vibe they were after without detracting from the beauty of Brympton House. As well as the gorgeous invitations by Amanda Michelle, my favourite item is the mirror table plan with gold glass backdrop. Classy and cool all in one.
THE VIBE OF OUR DAY
"Brympton House has its own stylist, Ellie Sloane. She gave us lots of inspiration and creative ideas, and then put together a styling plan for us based on the idea of a whimsical country house. We wanted to ensure the day was fun and relaxed, so had giant Jenga, space hoppers and picnic rugs out on the lawn for people to sit on, and we kept the styling very simple with ivory, gold and grey as a colour scheme. There was also no way I was getting married without my beloved puggle Barley being part of the big day. She wore a gorgeous silk flower collar by Cupid Collars and made the guests melt!" - Kate & Gareth
