What Made Our Day Unique
Everything about our day was unique. Nestled between the mountains and the sea, we were blessed with the stunning setting of Finca Marques de Montemolar - but it was the little touches that meant our wedding will never be replicated. We both felt like we were floating in a dream the entire time - completely drenched in the love of our family and friends and the love we have for one another. Because we chose to have our wedding abroad, it meant so much that our guests had travelled all that way for us. We had friends fly from San Francisco & LA, and my 85-year-old grandmother even made the trip! Her being there with us was the longest she had ever been apart from my grandfather in 62 years - I dedicated my speech to them and their love for one another.
Inspiration & Styling
Intimate, relaxed, emotional, bursting with love. Once we were in the capable hands of the epic duo that are Paloma Cruz, we knew the decor was going to be like nothing we have ever seen before. But it still blew us away. It started with one colour - peach - when Paloma said she wanted me to choose colours that would compliment my red hair - and from there we built up a portfolio together of Ibiza-inspired natural, wicker tones of oranges, yellows, creams and green.
Advice
Invite the people who you love and love you, and your day will be the most special day of your life. Build a relationship with your suppliers and get to know them it made such a difference on the day. Enjoy the moment, watch others enjoy it too. It is impossible to take everything in so hire a good photographer who is going to capture those moments you may have missed that you can relive for years to come.
