Inspiration

Deep in the heart of the Oxfordshire countryside, this Primrose Hill Farm wedding had all the elements of a fantastic celebration, great food, great wine and great company - oh and great flowers too, that definitely helps! The bride looked stunning in a thin-strapped Karen Willis Holmes Dress which was topped off with a gorgeous star and moon hairpiece. Carrying a pink bouquet she was flanked by her bridesmaids who wore pretty floral stitched dresses. A day filled with love, laughter music and a whole lot of singing!

What Made Our Day Unique

Our guests loved the ceremony and the meal left them feeling full- two rather rare eventualities at UK weddings! Our beautiful church provided the perfect space for us to make our vows to one another in front of our family and friends. We created our delicious menu with Taste Events who managed to pull all our favourite things together. We also created two cocktails called ‘The Pixie’ and ‘The James’ which went down a storm at the bar! There were no rules or timelines and everyone was free to potter around and enjoy the beautiful views from Primrose Hill Farm.

Primrose Hill Farm Wedding

The couple found Primrose Hill Farm wedding venue on a recommendation from their florist! The picturesque barn conversion is set in the rolling Oxfordshire countryside and provided the perfect backdrop to this celebration (the amazing sunset helped too!). Not wanting to determine a solid theme for their big day the couple just went for things that they loved without the stress of trying to make things too matchy-matchy, however, when the day came it couldn't have worked better, everything came together beautifully!

Inspiration & Styling

We wanted the day to reflect us as a couple and were so pleased that this was the feedback we received from our guests. It was filled with so much love, laughter, singing and music, and we shared great food and beautiful wine with all the people who we love most in the world. Pixie loves bright colours and is indifferent to being too matchy-matchy, so we didn’t put a lot of thought into creating a ‘theme’. This relaxed approach paid off as everything looked fantastic on the day!

As I mentioned earlier, this couple's florist helped them to find their venue of dreams, proving it's not what you know and who you know sometimes...and believe me, we know a lot of amazing people and suppliers and we have popped them all together on our handpicked list just for you! rock my wedding forum
