Spooky Wedding At The Workshop & Loft

Do not feel obligated to stick to all the usual wedding traditions. Being a same-sex couple, we felt less pressure to conform to traditional expectations, so it enabled us to exclude certain elements we weren't bothered about including. We didn’t walk down the aisle separately or have all speeches performed during the wedding breakfast, etc.

We walked down the aisle together to 'Wild Horses' covered by The Sundays. A very subtle nod to our shared love of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Our first dance was to 'August' by Taylor Swift. However, as we didn't want an extended dance on our own so at our request our DJ cut it halfway through with a record scratch. This made way for the iconic line of 'It's Britney Bitch' to boom through the speakers and everyone joining us on the dance floor for 'Gimme More' by the incredible Ms Britney Spears.
