Mack & Callum’s wedding wasn’t just a celebration of their love; it was a full-on reflection of who they are as a couple. The day was thoughtful, creative, and a whole lot of fun. Held at the breathtaking Orchardleigh House, the day was packed with meaningful details, unexpected laughs, and personal touches that left everyone smiling from start to finish. Despite Mack living with fibromyalgia, a chronic illness that impacts her mobility, she poured her heart and soul into making their big day not only unforgettable but also deeply meaningful for everyone involved. Mack made sure the day was as inclusive as possible. She wasn’t about to let anyone feel left out or awkward! On hand to make the bridal party feel beautiful for the occasion was the incredible Recommended Supplier, Hester Lily Makeup Artistry, who acted as makeup assistant.
Callum: Seeing Mack walk down the aisle is a moment I will never forget. I was overcome with emotion as everyone else faded away, and all I could see was this beautiful woman—someone I couldn’t imagine a future without.
Mack: I danced a little too hard, and by the end of the night I was limping and my body was screaming at me to slow down, but I wasn’t ready for the night to be over. Callum brought a chair out to the dance floor and everyone took turns dancing around me as they knew I needed to rest my ankles. We have the most amazing pictures of Callum dancing on me towards the end of the night.

The ceremony itself was pure magic. Reeny Hofrichter, a close friend who’s known Mack & Callum’s love story since the early days, officiated, and it couldn’t have been more personal or heartfelt. Her words had everyone laughing and tearing up, especially when she shared a text Mack had sent her when they first started dating: “He might be the one. He brought me a prawn cocktail instead of flowers!” If that isn’t a love language, what is? And let’s talk about the details because Mack seriously nailed it. Every guest was welcomed with a luggage tag featuring a beautiful hand-drawn illustration of Orchardleigh House, courtesy of Mack’s oldest childhood friend. It was the perfect keepsake for a destination wedding. Mack also used her graphic design skills to create everything from invitations and table cards to the wedding website and even cocktail napkins. The napkins were decorated with a picture of their dog, Pickles, and the words, “Drinks on me! xoxo, Pickles.” It was the kind of small, quirky touch that had everyone talking and smiling every time they grabbed a drink.
Mack, the stunning bride who also happens to be navigating life with fibromyalgia, made it clear she wanted a day where no one felt singled out or left out. So, instead of a traditional bouquet toss, she and Callum did something way more memorable. They had custom T-shirts made with the cheeky slogan, “I went to Callum and Mack’s wedding, and all I got was this lousy T-shirt.” Before their first dance, Mack climbed onto Callum’s shoulders and hurled the shirts into the crowd like a pro. Guests were jumping, cheering, and having the best time, trying to grab one. The highlight? Seeing their wedding coordinator absolutely beaming when she caught one. The whole wedding was sprinkled with little nods to Mack & Callum’s relationship. Mack spent years collecting gold frames, which were scattered around the venue. One of the most touching spaces was a memory table. It was dedicated to their loved ones who couldn’t be there and included photos of their grandparents, Mack’s high school best friend, her beloved family cat Ottis, and even a photo of Queen Elizabeth II.
It's your day. Do whatever the hell you want. If you want throw T-shirts instead of flowers. Do it! If you want a pick-and-mix station instead of a cake, do it! This is your day to celebrate YOUR LOVE. Your wedding should feel like yours, not someone else’s!
