This fun and fancy London wedding featured a candlelit Hackney Town Hall ceremony, DIY bouquets, a colourful embroidered vintage veil, a packed number 38 bus ride to the reception and an underground club party captured by Katie Goff Photography.
We really wanted our wedding to have its own personality rather than just being “wedding” themed. We intentionally chose a venue that didn’t need any extra decor (we avoided anywhere that was described as a “blank canvas”). We wanted a “moody” autumn candlelit vibe.
It’s so easy to get caught up in the wedding machine. Choose your inspiration and “vibe” early on and check back to that when making decisions as you go, so you don’t just go with what you feel like you “should” do.
