Inspiration

Charlotte & Zach's wedding at The Dinney is a complete pink fantasy. From their DIY pink wedding screen background to the pink bridesmaid dresses, flowers and tableware from Recommended supplier, ALBA Tableware. Their wedding weekend was held at The Dinney, a group of luxe holiday cottages in south Shropshire where around 50 guests stayed. They had a marquee wedding from Recommended supplier, Boutique Marquees. Capturing their pink wedding day was Recommended videographer, Black Sheep Films. This wedding gets even better when you discover their gift list was with Recommended supplier, The Wedding Shop.

DIY pink wedding screen background

We searched A LOT! We did use Rock My Wedding's Recommended suppliers. Zach and I found our planner when we were looking around some venues and she helped us bring our vision to life by recommending certain suppliers. We also used Instagram hashtags to find our photographer, makeup artist and hairstylist.

Wedding Screen Background

This couple made plenty of their own wedding decor! They made the pink wedding screen background so that it could be used in all parts of their day. Charlotte & Zach also made an arbour and wooden arch too. Whew! Talk about getting stuck in! The couple loved spending time together completing the DIY and had so much fun. Charlotte & Zach chose a marquee wedding with food trucks. Their stationery, flowers, DJ and celebrant were all close friends! Plus, family members helped set everything up, so their day was truly a family affair. Especially when an Italian sharing feast is on the menu. Nothing gets family together more than pasta and pizza! Yum!

Pink Colour Palette

Charlotte & Zach had an outdoor humanist wedding ceremony with a surprise...They decided to sing during their ceremony, which they were really nervous about, but after the first verse, everyone joined in and was dancing around. The song they sang was 'You & Me' by The Wannadies. The overall vibe of the wedding was a glam garden party with lots of pinks. Including the pink bridesmaid dresses, the ties, and the wedding screen background. They wanted a modern look so had handmade clay place names, a minimal wedding cake, and mismatched bridesmaid dresses. To keep the singing and party vibes going, the couple also had a roaming brass fusion band.

We’re obsessed with the pops of pink throughout this day! It's always the perfect wedding colour

Accept the cost and enjoy the planning process - get the vibe, overall look and feel of the wedding nailed down at the start, and then find your suppliers to suit that.

Charlotte & Zach's DIY handiwork looks so incredible. We love the simple effect the pink wedding screen background has on all the photos. We highly recommend looking at this wedding that also had plenty of pink DIY decor! Want to know more about different wedding ceremonies?
