FAQS

How many guests can you accommodate in the day and the evening?

- Our Oak Barn can accommodate roughly 80-90 seated guests. However, if you are looking to have over 90 seated guests attending during the day, you would need to use the Old Granary Barn for your wedding breakfast, where you would be able to seat up to maximum 160 guests. - In the evening, you are able to invite additional guests but a total of 250 would be the maximum.

Can we get married On-site?

We are licensed for ceremonies to be held in numerous locations throughout the venue. Have the luxury of choosing one of the following: - The Old Granary Barn - The Oak Barn - Various outdoor locations including The Meadows, The Verandah/Garden Should you choose an outdoor location, we will ALWAYS offer an indoor alternative on the day, just in case the weather suddenly changes!

Can we have a Church Wedding?

We are very fortunate to have the beautiful St Leonard’s Church situated on-site and only a short walk across the meadows. You are more than welcome to get married here but must contact the church administrator yourselves. We can also offer the Land Rover or Tractor & Trailer as transport to and from the Church.

Do you offer packages?

We don't offer packages as we like for each couples' day to be unique and personal to them. We limit the number of weddings we do so that we can offer support to every couple during the planning process, to help them choose the most suitable suppliers for them, usually from our directory of trusted suppliers. Jo and Millie are on hand from booking to the day itself to offer as little or as much help as is required.

If you’re looking for a wedding venue with a stunning backdrop, fantastic indoor and outdoor spaces, and the friendliest staff, then Abbey Farm is the one. The staff were so lovely, and we could not fault them one bit. If we ever had any queries, Millie was quick to get back to us, and nothing was ever too much. I honestly wish we could go back and do it all again because the whole day was a dream thanks to all the team at Abbey Farm!
