FAQS
What are your sustainable practices?
Amaranté is aiming to be the world’s sustainable luxury florist; having worked directly with our farming partners for several years developing specially preserved varieties of flowers that not only live much longer, but are ethically sourced (being BCORP and Fair-trade Certified) and have a fraction of the environmental impact. Amaranté’s profits are also put toward good causes, backing our global reforestation efforts, and reforesting over 30,000 trees in the Amazon and Madagascan rainforests thus far - making all our installations and events carbon negative.
How will Amarante design my wedding flowers?
Amarante's wedding design approach has three key principles – bespoke, carbon neutral and zero waste. The process includes, but is not limited to: 1. Discovery phase – through a series of conversations with you, our Head Florist Maria will understand what is important to you, what you want to achieve through your wedding flowers and consider the design of your venue. 2. Drawing and ideas – At Amarante, we are all about story telling. Maria’s inspiration for designs from the discovery call are taken back to our team of illustrators who draw out her ideas to be presented back to you. 3. Amendments and agreement on final designs is made until the client signs off each element of their installation.. 4. Amaranté handle everything thereafter in house, across our operational team of designers, planners, florists and installers. Full end to end build, install, and decommission is then carried out for events.
What is included in the wedding package?
