Once you’ve booked your venue you probably have an idea about the colours/style you’d like to incorporate. This is the perfect opportunity for us to run through your ideas so that we can give you an indication as to cost. As a guide, we’d suggest 12-18 months prior to your wedding but sooner rather than later as dates can book up quickly.
Don’t worry, a lot of clients book 18 months in advance so that’s enough time for you to change your mind about particular things in between. As long as you give us as much notice as possible, we’ll try our best to fulfil your new requests subject to availability of stock items. Changes made eight weeks prior to your date cannot be guaranteed.
Your stylist will take a non refundable booking fee in order to secure your date, this will be discussed in your initial meeting. Final details will be confirmed eight weeks prior to your event with final payment due six weeks prior to your event unless otherwise negotiated with your stylist. If you’d prefer to spread your payments with a payment plan then this can also be discussed with your stylist.
Variety is the spice of life, right? We don’t lock you into restrictive packages, you have the freedom to choose from a wide range of different products and we’ll build a design concept that ticks all of your boxes! We do however work closely with a number of venues and offer packages alongside the venue so if you’re interested in a package just ask your stylist if there is one applicable for your chosen venue.
One – This really depends on how much styling you require so firstly determine the key things you need initially before going off on a tangent with all of the things you’ve seen and pinned. Once you’ve got a figure for the “must haves” you can then see how much room is left in the budget for the extras. Two – Have a separate floristry to styling budget. Even though the two often run side by side, it’s better to look at them as two individual entities when budgeting. Three – Ask your stylist if any of your ceremony décor can be repurposed and used for your reception décor in order to be more sustainable and provide you with more value for money.
Yes of course, we understand that from the point in which you make your initial decision on your styling, the likelihood is that you might want to make a few tweaks in the run up to the big day. Where possible we’ll always try to accommodate these changes right up until the point in which we’ve confirmed your styling in your final details meeting (8 weeks prior to your booking date). *please note that were you wish to remove items from your booking, the maximum amount we can reduce your booking by is 10% of your original quote. If the items, you are removing make your booking fall below this value then you can choose additional items to add to your styling to make up the difference.

I honestly couldn’t be happier with the styling for our wedding! From the very first conversation, Sarah and Kate were so easy to work with — warm, professional, and always quick to respond to my many questions. In the lead-up, they really took the time to understand what we were hoping for and gave us so much confidence that everything would come together beautifully. Lydia is an absolute creative genius! Lydia at Ambience North Yorkshire is an absolute creative genius! Absolutely nothing was too much trouble at all in the lead up to our event and on the day both Lydia and Imogen delivered the most beautiful set up for our exhibition. I went to Lydia with a vague vision as to what I wanted and she came back to me with more than I could have ever imagined. She is so creative and came up with a plan to impressively dress 2 of our exhibition spaces that really had the wow factor. I got asked repeatedly throughout our show, who had created our stand as it was so striking! We were also highlighted in amongst 300+ suppliers as one of the best dressed stands – thanks to Lydia and her team. I would recommend Lydia in a heartbeat and have already booked her for every event I do.

We loved that she listened to everything we wanted, and she was not pushy, but was able to offer her professional and creative advice along the way! She also kept us within our budget and she is so friendly and approachable, it was a pleasure every time we were in touch with her. I keep saying the best money we spent on was the decorating. Another thing we really appreciated was she advised to utilise our decorations from the ceremony and move them to the reception, because of our budget, this made our visions become reality because we reused some decorations. Jo handled everything the day before, after our ceremony and then the next day they had already been to collect everything and there was nothing for us to do, which made it as stress free and relaxing as it could have been. We can’t recommend Jo enough, the venue and styling looked absolutely stunning, everything was perfect. Words can’t describe how amazing Kim was. From our very first call she just got our vibe- classic & timeless. The styling of our wedding was perfect and exactly what we wanted and more. The flowers, in particular my bouquet and bridesmaids flowers were everything from my vision board and more. She even adapted to my last minute change with no hestitation, the dream vendor to work with. Absolute perfection! We’ll always be so grateful to have had Kim style and be part of the most special day of our lives. Super talented, not to mention the friendliest and calmest!

A huge thank you to Joely at Buckinghamshire for pulling together the decor for our wedding it was absolutely perfect and even better than how I imagined it! My only regret was I didn’t get to see Joely on the day to say hi and thank you, I said to everyone she was like a secret fairy godmother running around in the background making everything beautiful without us seeing her once! The venue looked stunning for both ceremony and reception and it was an absolutely fantastic day made better with how beautiful it all looked so thank you once again we really appreciate the hard work you put into bringing it all together.
